Why pin an agent
A cloud agent runs on any online device, which is fine for generic work. Pin it when the task is tied to one machine — its files, its GPU, its local network.
Do it
- Go to Agents.
- Open the agent’s settings (gear icon) → General.
- Pick the device from the Device dropdown.
- Save changes.
Verify
The agent card now shows the device name and its online status. If the device is offline, the agent waits until it is back.
Switch back
Set the device back to Cloud and the agent returns to running on any available machine.
