LLM bills surprise people because spend is a cloud setting you forget. RemoteAgent Online makes spend a local, enforced limit.
Set a cap
spend: max_daily: 1.00 USD max_task: 0.20 USD model_fallback: local
The agent stops at the cap - it cannot ask the cloud for more money.
Enforced offline
Caps are checked on the device before each call. Even a network partition cannot let an agent exceed its budget.
Alerts and reports
Approaching a cap? You get an alert. Month over month, the dashboard shows spend per agent and per model.
