Where it lives
The workspace-level cap lives in Settings. It is the ceiling no agent can pass, regardless of individual settings.
Set it
- Open Settings.
- Find the daily spend cap field.
- Enter an amount you are comfortable with.
- Save — it applies immediately.
How it interacts with budgets
Per-agent budgets are the fine-grained control; the daily cap is the backstop. Whichever is hit first stops the spend. The cap protects you from a misconfigured agent, not just a busy one.
Watch it
The dashboard spend tile and the Insights view break down cost per day, provider, and model, so you can see exactly what is driving the number.
